Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) is an immune-mediated inflammatory disorder of the central nervous system. NMOSD may be associated with other autoimmune disease, including myasthenia gravis (MG). In most patients with the coexistence of MG and NMOSD, development of MG and thymectomy preceded the onset of NMOSD. We describe two patients with MG and NMOSD who had not undergone thymectomy.
